System of Evaluation
PRE-PRIMARY SECTION (LKG & SKG)

Continuous assessment of the progress and development of the child is conducted through out the year by means of observation, interaction and specially designed skill books. The assessment is done on the basis of emotional , social and cognitive development. The child’s gross motor ,fine muscle co-ordination and language development is gauged in all its parameters.

LOWER PRIMARY (I TO III)

The assessment of students is conducted throughout the year by means of observation, interaction and specially designed worksheets. The assessment includes emotional, social and academic performance of the students. The weekly assessments are scheduled.

UPPER PRIMARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL (IV TO VIII)

The students of Class IV to VIII are graded on a 7-point grading scale. Every term comprises of internal assessment of 20 marks and a term ending exam of 80 marks in each subject. Students need to secure 40% marks in all subjects.

SECONDARY LEVEL (IX and X)

An examination schedule strictly as per the directives and guidelines of CBSE is followed. The students are graded on a nine point scale. Internal assessment for Class Ix and X comprises of periodic tests (10 marks), subject enrichment activities (5 marks) and assignments (5 marks).

SENIOR SECONDARY (XI AND XII)

Class XI follows a pattern of regular Unit Tests followed by 2 Terminal exams .Language comprises of Listening and Speaking tests ,while other subjects comprise of practical and theory ,as per the CBSE guidelines.

Class XII follows the same pattern except that it has two Pre Board exams instead of the Second term exam, followed by the Board in March
